Ey yo, thanks for stopping by.
My name is Vince, and I run BluntVaper.com (formerly PortableVaporizerPro.com).
Here’s a little bit about me in case you have nothing better to do for the next 3 minutes.
My Bad Habit
Let me just start off by saying I have been dubbed “The Ultimate Consumer” by practically every single person I know.
You show me something that I haven’t seen before, there’s a 94% chance I’m giving you my money.
Other than the part of me just “playing” with things and breaking them, what really tickles me pink is understanding if the product is as good as the marketing behind it.
Needless to say, it’s a very expensive habit to have.
Why I Started This Site
Like many folks out there, I used to smoke cigs.
I used to smoke a lot- like a pack a day.
Not only was it preventing me from buying tons more stuff to play with, but I knew deep down it wasn’t healthy for me in the long run.
Then one day I saw this “immortal, risk-free, dripping in 24k gold, get 2 for the price of 1 offer ending in 4:59..4:58…4:57 minutes” infomercial about an e-cig and, of course, had to try it because, well, marketing things.
I didn’t even plan on quitting smoking or anything during this time, but I was more just curious about how this one worked since it looked different than the sh*t I’ve wasted money on in the past.
Plus I saw some damn pic of Leo DiCaprio using one, and he’s God, so…
I pulled out the wallet and made the plunge.
About a week later, it came in the mail, and I went straight the business.
Few puffs here, few puffs there, and surprise, surprise – it was a pile of dogsh*t just like the rest of ’em.
I was so…UGH!
I wasn’t pissed because I just flushed $100 down the can for a cheap little toy that I now use for a Q-Tip, but because of how “off” the pitch was. (Truth be told, I was pissed that I was stupid enough to buy it.)
The way I see it, if you tell me that if you spend “A” to get “B” and it’s going to do “C”, it fkn better 95% of the time.
Well, it didn’t.
The problem with a lot of product-based businesses these days is that they would rather make as much money as they can during their short shelf-life with some clever marketing, and in exchange, become total sell-outs and lose all “old school” business principles in the process for a quick buck.
This means that money matters to them more than a smile from the consumer they are selling to and this is a huge pet peeve of mine.
Because of my previous experiences and also because of the rate at which new vapes are coming out these days, I really wanted to expose the phonies, and make sure the good guys got their chest bump.
I started to put money aside in my own little vape fund so that I could build up a nice little collection (e-cigs, dry herb/wax portables, e-liquids, you name it – I would try anything I could
get my hands on afford) and began researching on how to build my own website so that I could start making my reviews public.
Few years later, here I am.
What to Expect
If I like something, I’ll tell you.
If I hate something, I’ll bash it to hell and will prob post their CEO’s Twitter handle.
Bottom line, I’m here to help you (and anyone else you know) find the best vaping products out there so you can expect nothing short of brutally honesty product reviews and a healthy back/forth discussion about the vaping/marijuana industry.
